I'd love to sit here and lie and say that I've missed blogging so much. Truth is, I haven't. It's hard to say that I am still completely devoted to this site. A bunch of comments simply vanished, which really pissed me off! But with Summer coming, I'm sure I will update more for you guys. I feel so bad, but I've been busy and this site is just not a priority. School is incredibly stressful, what with trying to get into a good college? I keep getting sick which is just no aid to my cause. Work sucks, basically. I get like no hours and co-workers seem to have a word to say about everything . But, Summer is almost here! And that's all that counts, I suppose .
The only real exciting thing that has happened is that I went to North Carolina over Spring Break. I loved it! I mean LOVED! It's so beautiful and it has ...palm trees! Seriously, if I didn't get so homesick and the drivers weren't so crappy, I might just move down there. Going 80 in a 55 through mountains is not my cup of tea. Also, 17 hours to drive each way is long! The only bad thing that happened was that my tire blew up on the freeway! It was scary, but we lived, ha . Pictures are on my Myspace. I also got two new kittens. Hewey and Lewey. They are little monsters! But so cute! :] I can't believe that someone would give them up! Picture!

So, I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy new year! I just can't explain in words how relieved I am that it is a brand new year. 2007 had to be the worst year of my life. I lost my one love and I lost three family members. I hope that this year brings much happier days.
I would like to start this blog with my thoughts upon Christmas this year. Mine was as good as can be expected for losing three family members. Let me tell you, it was very odd and spirits were grave that day. It seemed that everyone was in a gray mood. My grandmother used to go to all lengths to cross the prices off of gifts. I mean she would even carve it off of the box if needed. This year she left prices on nearly everything and was quite embarrassed. I felt her pain. I mean, honestly, I can not imagine losing a husband of forty-something years. It is hard just for me losing my grandfather. I miss him everyday. I'm not saying that the other deaths were easy, but his death definitely seems to have the most impact on me. I can't believe that someone that struggled that hard and for that long is now gone. I know it is for the better, but it is hard to fathom . I am pretty sure I got just about everything I wanted, though. My favourite jacket, perhaps a surprise, is my cashmere peacoat. I am in love with this thing! I realized that I am getting older; I didn't care about my presents...I just wanted to see everyone else open theirs.
Other than that, it has been basically work and school. It seems that there is not enough time in the day; it's waking up and before a blink of the eye I am asleep. But I like it this way...it keeps me busy and my chin up. Work is going well...I get annoyed at times, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love most of my co-workers, and that's not something that is all too common.
I am pretty sure I want to see a Green Bay Packers playoff game. Tickets are around $250 for half decent seats...I am keeping my fingers crossed!
Anyways, I am sorry for the lack of updates, but I finally feel like getting back into the web scene. I have numerous plans for ON.ORG in '08.

Well, I do believe that I lost some of my comments from the previous entry. My server was down for work and thus I think some data was lost. My coding became invalid because of it, as well. But my host was such a help getting it back up. I seriously recommend them (American Princess Web). They have also been prompt in answering my support tickets and the prices are unbelievable. Anyways, yeah. I still can't get php includes for comment sites like Exposure to work. If anyone can help, please do share! I don't want to be a pest to my host, ha.
Well, lately it's been very hectic at home, as usual I suppose . My grandpa passed last Tuesday, and since then it's just been back and forth between the relatives trying to get everything prepared. It's hard; this is the third family member that I have lost this year. I'm just glad he spent his last days with family and got to see his great grandson. It was hard. This was his third battle with cancer, and he finally lost. He never gave in, though. I can't believe how much the man wanted to live. A few days before he passed, he asked if he should get a flu shot. How heartbreaking! This weekend will be the hardest; we have to bury him .
My nephew is doing pretty good now. I got to go over there last night and visit him .
Anyways, that's been just about it. I hope everyone else is doing okay. Happy Halloween! It's my dad's birthday!

Here he is! Awh, I'm so excited! She went in on Tuesday at about 5 P.M. and kept getting induced. He refused to come out until this morning at 12:41 A.M.! I really wanted him to be born on my birthday, but I guess I can handle him being born 2 days after . However, there were complications with the birth so he was put in a special nursery. Apparently, he wasn't breathing when he came out. So we didn't get to hold him yet, but at least I saw him! He looks just like my brother I'm just so proud. I can't believe it! I've wanted to be an aunt for forever. So tonight after work, I will go there and hopefully be able to hold him! The nurses are so bitchy there, though.
Anyways, my birthday was nice! Jon came to my school with balloons, flowers, a cake, and some gift bags. Oh my god, it was so sweet. Everyone says that we should go out, but I'm so confused as to what will happen.
My shopping in Chicago was very nice. Except for the fact that there was heavy traffic on the way there ...but what can you do?
Here's the bad thing right now. My grandpa will probably not make it through this weekend... After the two deaths of my uncles in February, I am definitely not ready for another death. I just don't even want to face it, think about it, or anything. I don't want to face reality, I guess .

Well, sorry about the lack of updates! I am super busy with school & work . I am sick again, so yeah. I fell a bit behind in school so that was lame. But everything is made up, minus a few tests, heh.
Not too much to blog about today, except for the fact that it is almost time for 2 big events ! In 9 days, my nephew will be born! (Well, that's the due date at least ) And two days after that, (11 days), it is my birthday! I will be 17, so I'm pretty stoked about that . I can't wait. I just love October. Next Friday some work friends & I are going to Chicago to go shopping. Next Saturday is homecoming, and all that jazz. Birthday parties, costume parties, haunted houses, Six Flags Fright Fest, & trick or treating! All to look forward to this month . New layout! Based upon my favourite season, Fall I spent forever working on the CSS!
It has definitely been a while since I have last updated. I'm not going to lie, I have been extremely lazy, but I have been working out the paypal issue. I am now only $2 away from being able to renew my domain for the year which is well, great I have like a million comments to return, but don't worry, I will get around to it. It's just hard right now. I have a lack of motivation, school, work, and I am currently sick (as usual, ha.)
So anyways, I just wanted to say RIP to all the victims of September 11th, seeing as it has been a good six years now. It's hard to fathom that. I'm sure that everyone has their own story about where they were. Share if you please I'm not going into details, but the one thing I remember most is watching the planes hit while getting ready for school. I went to school and couldn't even remember the name of the Twin Towers...now I'll never forget.
It has also been six months since I have last seen Aaron. And I guess still some days are better than others. I should really be over it, but I'm not; I'm too stubborn. I just hope the best for him... And that's all that I can do.

Well. I'm busy again with work. I had my first day off in two weeks the other day...but I'm so tired, still. So I haven't really been able to return them. But don't fear, I will get around to it
So, next month comes the time when I need to get a new domain when this one expires. My paypal account is a little bit low on cash. Thus, would anyone like to buy layouts? I could make customs, too, I suppose. Or anything really would help. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make some money quick? Ha.

So anyways, major lack of updates; I know, I know. I have been way super busy with work, of course...
Which brings to me what I shall blog about today; the...oh-so-lovely () people of revenue. Now I shall take you back to the beginning. I was scared to go to work, afraid that the people would be mean. Nope, everyone is absolutely great. I couldn't ask for a better bunch of fellow co-workers. But, as I go to check out for the day I encounter the bitchy people of revenue. Never in my life have I encountered people that think they are on such a high pedestal as these people think they are. First off, your working at the state fair. It's not some vital company in the world like say, Microsoft. So anyways, I was handling it and just grinding my each day as I came in. But yesterday, this lady decides that I absolutely have to have these tickets that have VOID written on them in pen. You see, I have asthma. She made me walk back like the half a mile or whatever to my ticket booth just to get these. I was super PISSED ...literally like that red. I thought that was it and I'd be spared from witnessing her ever again. No; I go up there today, and she comes up to me. She's like *in a bitchy tone* so I understand that you have a problem with auditing? I'm like...uh no. She's like well I hear your calling the auditors evil. I'm like...this was a joke. And I'm thinking, uh huh I'm getting yelled at for jokingly calling them evil while the one lady is showing us fuck you and how to masturbate in sign language. So she goes on bitching at me and I just did not want to take it so I cut her off by counting my money. I seriously hope I never have to see her again; she has ruined a perfect experience for me. Which brings me back to the question of wither or not I want to go back there next year or not, even though I'm recommended for re-hire. And also, question, do you guys think that I should file a complaint...honestly. Sorry, long read. I'm just very pissed...

Hey everyone! I got inspired and created this layout featuring Miss Lily Allen, whom I do adore. I like it a lot, I suppose. Blue is my absolute favourite colour, if you couldn't tell!
I always find it hard to choose a font for layouts. It's just so hard for me to get them to match some what; does anyone else have this problem?
Also, with cutenews, if someone comments using the name Cassie, it won't let them. (Since it's my name...) Does anyone know how to fix this? Help would be greatly appreciated!
So basically, I have just been hanging out a lot lately with people from work. I did go to the Dells; it was a lot of fun! I could tell my pneumonia was acting up when we went in the wave pool, however. Overall, it's been pretty manageable. I just want to fully recover soon
I have training for state fair today. I'm scared to meet all the new people? Ha, oh well. That's about it. Anything exciting with you guys? Take care!

Hey everyone! Thanks for all of the lovely comments! I edited the CSS; it's better than before, but still not my favourite. Oh well!
Hmm...so I seem to have had this horrible cough of the late. So, for a couple of days, I just ignored it thinking that it would go away. On Saturday, I could barely make it through work, and my boss even said I could go home early. So, when I get home, my parents go to take me to urgent care, but it's closed. So I had to go to the Emergency Room. The waiting was ridiculous, but whatever. The doctor came in, and I tested negative for mono and strep throat. But, she did the usual examination and had me get a chest x-ray; turns out I have a sinus infection and pneumonia. It seems weird to me since it's July, but oh well. I still feel like shit and I have to take these horse pills. I hate taking pills, so it makes even that much worse!
However, on Wednesday, I'm excited to go to the Dells. I'm going with some people from work and we're going to go shopping and to Noah's Ark, which is a huge waterpark. So I'm hoping these antibiotics work their magic so I am well enough to go!
And that's about it. Oh, I also got a job for two weeks at the state fair. So I'm kind of excited about that cos I didn't think I got it. Also, my AP World test results came back; I got a 3. I'm not super proud of it, but at least I get college credit for that! Which is nice. Anyways, take care everybody!

I haven't been up to much lately. This week was spent just being pure lazy. I saw the fireworks on the 4th of July, and that was okay. It just didn't seem as good as previous years. I've just kind of been in shitty spirits lately, however.
On Thursday, I went up to Oshkosh to see some BMXers I know. The show was neat, but way smaller than the ones here at State Fair! I'm sad because they won't be coming to State Fair this year. Anyways, my friend and I then proceeded to go out to eat at Applebee's with one of them, so that was quite an adventure! Man, how the heads do turn when your out with a pro BMXer! Ha...
Anyways, that's about it. Just working and shit like that. This Summer blows so far :/
I'm definitely thinking about going to California soon...but I don't know about dropping $300 to go...
Also, I'm thinking about dying my hair. What do you think would be better; red or really blonde? Haha. I can't decide...
