Want to make an image like this?

Then, follow the steps below!
Make a new image.  I have my dimensions set at 300x400.
Next, pick out a psd.  This can either be a site model that you have cut out or any psd you find on the internet.   Be sure to credit!  I am using the Scarlet Johansson PSD which can be found here at PSDelightful.
Click on the magic wand tool, which is under the selection section.
PICTURE:

Next, hit ctrl+a on your keyboard.  The whole image should have a selection border around it.  Click on the PSD; it should now be perfectly outlined.
PICTURE:

After this, go to Selections>>Modify>>Expand.  If it says the object must be defloated, click ok.  Once this box comes up, enter 1 in for the number of pixels and press ok.
Now go to Layers>>new raster layer.  In your layers palette, put the new layer below the selected layer.
PICTURE:

After this, you must select a border colour for your image.  I will be using white (FFFFFF).  Use the flood tool () and flood the selected area.  You may now unselect the area by right clicking.
This step is OPTIONAL.  I perfer to make her look angelic, so to speak.  Go back to the layout with your PSD.  Then, go to layers>>duplicate.  Now, go to adjust>>blur>>gaussian blur.  I have my radius set to 5.00.  Now go to layers>>properties.  Play around with this!
My properites:

Also optional is to repeat this for the border of the PSD.
Now we have to decide the background!  This is the fun part :]
Go to layers>>new raster layer.  Place it below all of your other layers.  I will be using a background that I have previously created, which can be found in my backgrounds section.
Open up your background image.  Click on the flood tool ().  Next, you must go to your materials section.  Select the patterns button and then click on the window.  When it comes up, search for your background.  When you find it, click on it and then press ok.
PICTURES:

Now it's time to get creative!  Create a new layer above your background.  Now use your brushes and be creative!  You can play around with the layer properties to get some interesting effects, also.  I use brushes from Swimchick.net & Saruna.net.
It's time for the font!  Just be creative.  Make sure that you are adding the font above all of the other layers.  I used baby kruffy at 36 pixels with a 1.0 border with the line style as diamond and with the colour at F4AACB.
Lastly, add a border, if you'd like!  Go to image>>add borders.  I have mine set as symmetric, so all are at 1 pixel.  My border is white (FFFFFF).
Good job!  If it's not as good as you'd like it to be, keep trying :]  This all takes time.  Just put your own spice into it!
